Joan Swan
 Joan
writes what she reads—romantic suspense. She has been writing
seriously for five years and has finalled in several contests,
including the 2006 RWA Golden Heart and the 2007 Daphne. She is
represented by Nahvae Frost, a literary agent with The McCarthy Agency
in New York. Writing related affiliations include President of Wine
Country Romance Writers RWA, Member of Silicon Valley RWA, Mystery and
Suspense RWA, Sisters in Crime and San Luis Obispo Night Writers. She
also blogs regularly with several other RS authors at
Romance Worth Killing For.
On a personal note, Joan has been
married seventeen years to her own personal hero, a veteran
firefighter, and they have two creative, spirited daughters, ages 15
and 11. She works days in both the art and medical fields. |
